Slice brussell sprouts into 3 or 4 slices (I had quite small sprouts, larger ones might need to be sliced into 5). Chop some onions. Melt butter in a pan, add onions and cook gently for about 10 minutes, add the sprouts and stir, cook for 5 minutes. Drizzle on some water or stock and let it simmer for 5 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper.
